I/O COORDINATOR

We are looking for, an energetic detailed focused VFX I/O Coordinator ready to take on a wide range of tasks in our Vancouver studio. Our company is a fast-paced and highly collaborative production environment. Our constantly increasing projects range from feature films to television shows. You will be working together with artists with a wealth of experience on various productions. Job Duties:

 

  • Ingest client files and prepare client deliveries via digital file transfer programs (ex: Aspera, Signiant Media Shuttle) and physical hard drives with tight security requirements.

  • Prepare and execute digital file transfers between studios, vendors and other parties.

  • Communicate accurately and in a timely manner the transfer of the data to the appropriate department

  • Maintain open communication with managers and artists. Following up with both to ensure deliveries remain on schedule.

  • Assist in archiving studio data.

  • Planning and implementing protocols and workflows to ensure proper preparation for client deliveries and security audits.

  • Assisting in some production needs, such as creating and publishing shots, tasking, and updating log databases.

  • Provide overall production support to the studio.

 

Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Proficient computer skills; emphasis on Production Tracking Software (Shotgun) and Asset Management, Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Office, and standard PC applications.

  • Familiarity with relevant tracking software such as 3DEqualizer, SynthEyes, and Maya.

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings or nights when production schedules require.
     

Experience:
 

  • VFX: 1 year (Preferred)
