We are looking for a VFX Production Assistant to join our team in Vancouver on site! Entry-level position.
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented VFX Production Assistant, who is ready to take on a wide range of tasks in our Vancouver studio. Our company is a fast-paced and highly collaborative production environment. Our constantly increasing projects range from feature films to television shows. We are looking for talented & enthusiastic people who have the drive to keep up and contribute to this quickly growing company. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of the formative years of a new studio in Vancouver. You will be working with artists with a wealth of experience on various productions.
VFX Production Assistant is an entry-level position. You will be responsible for varied tasks within production, assisting all aspects of the production. A great opportunity to learn the entire VFX pipeline.

Duties & Responsibilities
Office duties include stocking supplies, ensuring office tidiness, taking out the trash, grocery runs, and miscellaneous errands...
Assists and supports the Supervisor, Producer, and Production Coordinators, and Leads in day-to-day activities, general production errands
Organizing files, updating databases and performing deliveries
Note-taking in meetings
Assist Producers in administrative duties, such as printing documents or compiling data entries
Assist Production Coordinators with production management tasks, such as the preparation of review sessions
Assist in all outgoing file transfers to clients and outsource vendors, including the preparation of renderings and documentation
Education and Experience
High attention to detail and willingness to learn
Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office/Google Suite applications such as Word, Excel, Office, and standard PC applications.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Calm under pressure
Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to handle a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings or nights when production schedules require
Previous experience in an administrative, assistant or customer service-oriented role
Takes initiative and looks for ways to exceed expectations
